1. The service
Crawlable performs automated technical analysis of publicly accessible websites and reports the results. We make ordinary HTTP requests of the kind any web crawler makes. We do not modify, access private areas of, or attempt to bypass access controls on any site.
2. Acceptable use
You may scan sites you own or have a legitimate professional interest in analysing, such as a client site or a competitor’s public homepage. You may not use Crawlable to generate load against a site, to probe for vulnerabilities, or in any manner that would constitute unauthorised access under applicable law. We rate-limit scans and may suspend accounts that appear to be using the service abusively.
3. Accuracy and no guarantee of outcome
Our findings describe measurable properties of HTTP responses at the time of the scan. Websites, CDN configurations and crawler behaviour all change. We do not guarantee that acting on our recommendations will cause any AI assistant to cite, mention or rank your site. No such guarantee is possible, and you should treat anyone offering one with suspicion.
4. Generated content
Fix artifacts — robots.txt rules, structured data, llms.txt — are generated programmatically and partly with the assistance of a language model working from your own page content. You are responsible for reviewing them before publishing. Do not publish structured data that misstates facts about your business.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans bill monthly in advance through Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, who handles applicable sales tax and VAT. You may cancel at any time from the billing portal; access continues to the end of the paid period. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for partial months, but if the service materially failed to work for you, contact us and we will make it right.
6. Liability
The service is provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
